BIO 200 - Biological Concepts


Credits: 4

A foundation course for biology majors and minors. This course will introduce the student to basic biological concepts including biochemistry, metabolism, respiration, photosynthesis, mitosis, meiosis, genetics, ecology, and evolution.

Prerequisites:
Students cannot enroll in this course if they are not academically eligble to enroll in ENG 111 and MTH 110 or MTH 111.

Required: Students cannot enroll in this course if they are not academically eligible to enroll in ENG 111  and MTH 111  or are required to take GS 110 .
Lecture/Lab: Includes one 150-minute laboratory per week.
