Mission Statement: Developed in collaboration with hitachi Automotive Systems Americans, Inc., the Associate of Applied Science in Applied Engineering is designed to cultivate the knowledge and skills students need to be successful in the advanced manufacturing sector.
Objectives: The Applied Engineering program will
- Provide the foundation for students to excel in and advance their careers in engineering and technical support groups (maintenance).
- Fill a growing gap between manufacturing needs and available qualified persons.
- Prepare students to continuously adapt to rapid changes in the advanced manufacturing sector via rigorous hands-on and academic training.
