Mission Statement
Campbellsville University, School of Barbering Cosmetology, and Esthetics’ mission is to provide educational tools and knowledge for students to excel in the beauty and grooming field so they will possess the confidence and skills to service clients/students and obtain their licenses to be employed in beauty salons,
barber shops, spas, schools, or other avenues of the beauty and grooming industry. We strive to offer a balanced academic and personal environment that fosters growth and constant pursuit of knowledge and Christian servant leadership.

Objectives and Purpose
  1. To teach and assist our students with the knowledge and skills to master the techniques and scope of the beauty/grooming profession.
  2. To help students discover and develop the skills of their chosen field in order to earn a living.
  3. To contribute to the development of responsibility by self-control, self-discipline and self-direction.
  4. To teach and motivate each student to do their very best in the field of Cosmetology/Barbering/Esthetics culture whereby, they are competent to successfully pass and fulfill all requirements of the Kentucky Board.
  5. To create a sense of self-worth and belonging.
  6. To continually update our methods and techniques in teaching by attending professional development courses, clinics, seminars, and continuing education classes, thus allowing us and our students to meet the present and future demands of our industry.
  7. To stress the importance of human relationships with the ideas and attitudes of trustworthiness and of willingness to cooperate with employers and employees.
  8. To foster, by example, an appreciation of the industry, tolerance, professionalism, and a sense of humor.
  9. To prepare the students for state board examinations and promote a learning of skills.

Admission Requirements


All prospective students must apply to Campbellsville University through admissions, at www.campbellsville.edu or 1 University Dr., UPO 812, Campbellsville, Ky. 42718. The applicant must submit an official high school transcript or official GED score. Admittance will be at the discretion of the school director.

Hours of Instruction


Full-time students are scheduled 36 hours per week.   The state of Kentucky requires a minimum of 20 hours per week attendance, no more than eight (8) per day attended, no more than forty (40) hours per week.

Tuition


Tuition: $15,000.00

Kit Fee: $2,000.00

Total: $17,000.00
