CS 420 - Database Program Development

Credits: 3

Introduction to application program development in a database environment with an emphasis on loading, modifying and querying the database using a host language. Discussion and application of data structures, indexed direct file organizations, models of data including hierarchal, network and relational. Discussion of storage devices, data administration and data analysis, design, and implementation.

Prerequisites: CIS 320 .
