CHE 355 - Environmental Chemistry


Credits: 4

The course will provide the student with an introduction to the chemical principles of environmental systems. Topics will include chemical equilibrium, acid-base chemistry, environmental organic chemistry, heavy metal chemistry, and treatment applications.

Prerequisites: CHE 112 , CHE 114  and CHE 321  with grades of C or better or consent of instructor.
Lecture/Lab: Three lecture hours and one three-hour laboratory per week.
