ART 320 - Photography

Credits: 3

This course will use a digital camera with removable lens so a student will need the use of this type of camera for the course. It will introduce the student to the use of the camera, composition and design in photography, professional practices as a photographer in art, presentation techniques, burning and dodging by using Photoshop. Various techniques of learning how to improve one’s photographs will be demonstrated. A portfolio of work will be collected during the course of the semester and the best compositions will be selected for printing.

Studio Class: Six hours of studio class per week.
