AEN 150 - Introduction to Machining - Manual Milling

Credits: 2

The purpose of this course is to introduce basic setup and use of the vertical milling machine.  Students will learn about tooling, speeds and feeds, work holding, vice and machine alignment. Students will learn to square up a block from round stock, drills and taps for making internal threads, cut a keyway, and utilize different methods for cutting angles.
