TH 401 - Advanced Acting

Credits: 3

This course is designed to help students further their acting techniques. It is assumed that the students will have a basic knowledge of and experience with the unique requirements of stage acting. This class will build upon that knowledge and concentrate on intense scene study. The focus will be on dramatic performances of Chekhov and Shakespeare. Students will prepare scenes for presentation in class and actively participate in related class exercises. They will also create resumes and prepare auditions for the theater.

Prerequisites: TH 253 .
