SWK 410 - Field Instruction Credits: 12
Field education is designed, coordinated, supervised, and evaluated on the basis of criteria by which students demonstrate the achievement of social work core competencies at a qualified agency.. Students spend a minimum of 450 clock hours during the last semester of their senior year at an approved practicum setting that meets the criteria for social work field education as stated by the Council on Social Work Education. Application for field instruction must be processed and approved the semester before registering for SWK 410. Social Work majors only. This is a pass/fail course.
Prerequisites: All social work courses except SWK 450 which can be taken concurrently. Social work majors only.
