SOC 365 - Social Change

Credits: 3

Examines social changes using a sociological lens. Special focus is given to changes associated with modernization and the postmodern era in which we are now living. Applies theoretical perspectives from sociology to explore historical and contemporary examples of social change in both the United States and across the globe and examines the role of social movements and revolutions and their impact on social change.

Prerequisites: SOC 110 .
