CLS 210 - Medical Assistant Specialty Practices

Credits: 4

This course prepares the medical assisting student for skill mastery that is unique to various medical specialties in the health care field. The focus is also directed to the various diseases and conditions that accompany each medical specialty. Areas of specialty study include ophthalmology, otolaryngology, dermatology, gastroenterology, urology, obstetrics, gynecology, pediatrics, orthopedics, neurology, endocrinology, pulmonary, cardiology, and assisting with geriatrics.
