TH 317 - Ballet II

This intermediate dance technique course is a continuation of ballet technique with a progression of barre, center, and across the floor exercises. Fundamentals of intermediate ballet are addressed with greater emphasis on strength, coordination, and artistry. Students will further develop their technique, movement vocabulary, and sequence construction while advancing their knowledge of ballet history and repertory. This course is recommended for students who have completed Ballet I and are at an intermediate level.

Prerequisites: TH 217 or consent of instructor.
