BIO 430 - Parasitology

Credits: 4

A study of the chief distinguishing morphology, life cycles, and functions of the major parasites that infect man and animals and to gain an understanding of the medical and veterinary significance of aspects of the host-parasite relationship.  Includes one 150-minute laboratory per week.  Prerequisites: BIO 200 and BIO 201, or consent of instructor.
