ENG 314 - The Argument for Equality


Credits: 3

The Argument for Equality studies centuries of rhetorical work, mostly by women, sometimes explaining the reasons for society to treat women and men as equals in intellect and ability, and other times responding to arguments against doing so.  The course could be confined to argumentative essays on the subject or could expand to include literary renderings of women’s positions in society.

Prerequisites: ENG 111  , ENG 112  , and ENG 210
