ENG 351 - Renaissance to Restoration Literature

The course surveys Renaissance literature from the Early Modern through the Restoration periods, both fiction and nonfiction. It covers a wide range of works, antecedents, criticism, and contexts, with close readings of selected authors. The focus is mainly on British literature, although selections from other countries may be included.

Prerequisites: ENG 112 and ENG 210 or ENG 234.
