The University provides individual online courses and fully-online degree programs at the certificate, undergraduate, graduate, and professional endorsement level. Policies and procedures that govern them are included here. Students taking online courses either as a part of in-person program of study or for a fully-online degree should read the Online Student Handbook.
Students wishing to enroll in an online course or a fully-online degree program should consider the following:
- Students attending the Campbellsville campus may take no more than two online courses (6 credit hours) per the fall or spring semester. There are no limits for winter and summer terms.
- First-semester freshmen may not take online courses without approval of the advisor and vice president for academic affairs.
- Online courses are condensed in time (typically 8 weeks), but not in content.
- The attendance policy is enforced in all online courses.
- A $75 fee (per online course) may apply, depending on the student’s academic program or enrollment status.
- Coursework must be completed by posted deadlines regardless of participation in athletics or music ensembles.
