Leadership Studies Minor 1

ROTC Program (offered in cooperation with Western Kentucky University)

Campbellsville University and Western Kentucky University ROTC have prepared a very flexible college program of study. The ROTC program offers a Leadership Studies Minor in the School of Business, Economics, and Technology that can be combined with any major field of study. All ROTC students must complete a military history course in order to be commissioned. The course is included in the minor. Please see the Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences to determine when the course will be offered.

• MSL 101 - Introduction to the Army Credits: 2
• MSL 102 - Foundation of Agile and Adaptive Leadership Credits: 2
• MSL 201 - Leadership and Decision Making Credits: 3
• MSL 202 - Army Doctrine & Team Development Credits: 3
• MSL 301 - Training Management and Wartime Functions Credits: 3
• MSL 302 - Applied Leadership in Small Unit Operations Credits: 4
• MSL 401 - The Army Officer Credits: 3
• MSL 402 - Company Grade Leadership Credits: 4
• HST 465 - Introduction to Military History Credits: 3

Elective Courses

• MSL 210 - Leader’s Training Course Practicum Credits: 7 (intensive summer course held at Fort Knox)

• This practicum is in lieu of freshman and sophomore classes (MSL 101 , MSL 102 , MSL 201 , MSL 202 ).

• MSL 410 - Leader Development and Assessment Credits: 6
