The Master of Divinity is a 75-hour program designed to explore Christianity in-depth and develop the leadership skills it takes to do Christ’s work in the church and on the mission field. This program is designed to prepare the graduate to:
- Pastor a church or serve on a church staff.
- Serve as a military chaplain.
- Serve in cross-culture and international missions.
- Lead a nonprofit, faith-based organization.
Program Academic Expectations:
The Master of Divinity is an academically rigorous program. Seventy-five (75) hours of graduate coursework is required for the degree. The student will choose between three tracks in the MDiv program: Biblical Studies, Ministry and Missions Leadership, and Pastoral Care & Chaplaincy.
Program Length:
Students can complete the online MDiv program in as little as two years.
Interruption and Resumption of Studies:
If, for whatever reason, the student does not register for courses in two consecutive graduate terms, he or she must reapply for admission through the Office of Graduate Admissions.
There are no pre-reqs required for the MDiv program.
