Fragmented Modernism studies in depth those longer works of the modernist era which consist almost entirely of smaller works connected by the tiniest of thematic threads. The course will focus on the element of fragmentation in modernist literature and explore it through works often either ignored or minimally represented by the canon, primarily due to their length.
