ACC 911 - Advanced Accounting Analytics

Credits: 3

This course aims to increase the doctoral student’s exposure to advanced topics in analytics used by accounting professionals and provides a practical foundation to understand the impact of data analytics on Accounting, Auditing, and Financial Reporting. Emphasis is placed on the development of skills necessary to extract and analyze data captured through enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems to improve estimations, valuations, and facilitate optimal decisions.  Students will use different analytical models.
