MUS 321 - History of Music I

A study of the history of music in Western cultures beginning with the rise of West Asian and East Mediterranean music and extending to the end of the Baroque. The course is designed to establish a working knowledge of the development of musical styles and their historical importance.

Prerequisites: MUS 221 .
