MA 230 - Dosage Calculations

Credits: 3

This course is designed to teach the skills and techniques students need to calculate the amount of medication they should administer to patients. It also teaches students to interpret both physician” order and drug labels. Students learn to calculate orders based on body weight as well as body surface areas. This course is specifically designed for students preparing to be Medical Assistants, Pharmacy Technicians, and other allied health care workers.
